Satsang is literally “in the company of truth.” Satsang is a meeting in truth honoring our unchanging true nature – the reality of solid spaciousness. In the late 1990s, Stuart attended satsang with Robert Adams, an American jnani (knower of truth) who became his mentor. Stuart often speaks of the strength of Robert’s presence and is most grateful to Robert and his guru, the revered Ramana Maharshi, the sage of Arunachala. Being drawn to pilgrimage to Ramana’s ashram in South India in 2005, Stuart feels it is the depth and power of Ramana’s silence that supports all knowledge of our true nature.
