Faithful Bodhisattva
Here is a rap I wrote called “Faithful Bodhisattva,” in which as a follower of the Buddha is what we all want to become, is to become a Faithful follower who has cross over the shore of Samsara and to spin the wheel of the Dharma and help save sentient beings as a Faithful Bodhisattva. Before I entered the Noble Eightfold Path, I use to rap for the world, about self centered things which profit nothing to anybody nor myself. Now I have changed my view in life and decided to use my personal talent to help spread the message of the Dharma.
This rap was written and recorded ONLY to selflessly promote the Pure Path. If people in this world can rap about sex, drugs and alcohol, why not rap about the Pure Truth that is made to liberate the souls out of samsara?

walking with Mindfulness, I absorb His might
Maitri, kindness, compassion, peace, bliss
the Eightfold Path is what I’m following swift
it raised me up and lifted my hearts soul is rich
not taking heed to mara or receiving the kiss
the death “Will” will switch, suffer down a ditch
I understand the Four Noble Truths and its list
now I pump like this
I spread the Truth like this
it’s time for you to awaken
from your sleepfulness.

there’s no more dreaming of cream
other words, money, dough, bling and all these things
because that’s not the goal
and if you say it is so
then your life is going no where and it will surely blow
far away, away like leaves to a tree
because money, sex, and power will never make you free
but bound around
so I deliver this sound
of Enlightenment to awaken your nature
Buddha Nature, major awareness
the yellow robe is what I want so I wear this
on my sleeve, pure life is what I breathe
what I see, is what I want to be
a Faithful Bodhisattva.

join the community, come unto unity
walk into One path righteous and purity
its all the same no matter where we come from
whatever, your a Christian, Buddhist or Muslim,
whatever religion, you see its all just labels
lets get together and bring solutions to the table
don’t be one sided, one minded, just fight it
get rid of dogmas that is made just to divide us
so one for all , all for one,
