Hi Ellie,
I am happy that this blog is becoming what I imagine it to be. A site where people like you and me can eat, drink and be merry together. I am happy to meet you and I hope it can continue to be an extension of our Creator, to enlighten me and everyone that reaches these pages. I have nothing to offer you, whatever is inspired to me is not of me, but the publishing of the beautiful Spirit of the Absolute. I started my life in Christianity, then I slowly had questions that I needed to get answered, but no one answered it without be bias or one sided, so I had to seek the Absolute for the answers, and God revealed to me the great truths, that was revealed to more than one group. Now I have recently discovered these beautiful jewels of truth and I can believe it has been hidden from me because of ignorance and fear. I use to be the man in the corner yelling out, "If you do not repent, you are going to hell!" because that is what I was taught when growing up in a Christian church. But in my adult years, God revealed to me, that was wrong, that is not God's path, that is a path created by doctrine of men to control people. God's path is more humble, more universal, more passive, more about love, not about control, not fear-based or fear motivating. God doesn't tell us to fear Him, but to respect Him. Sorry for writing too long. :)

Yes, the book from Suzuki, is a great blessing to me, it open my eyes to many things and I encourage everyone that reads this to read it, take these beautiful jewels left behind from one of our brothers.

The Sandals and glass of water, was a picture I took, while I was meditating. I sometimes have a glass a water next to me, just in case I get thirsty when I am meditating or praying, and when I opened my eyes during my meditation, I look at this scene of my sandals and glass of water, and I felt in my heart this message, so I ran to get my camera, and I took the photo. I had to share this message, to my sisters and brothers.

May this blog continue to bless you and I, and may our walk on this journey be filled with the virtue of peace.

Peace & Grace.

What a very interesting blog you have. I'm glad I found it. I, too, was very influenced by Suzuki's book a long time ago.

Did you take the photograph above or did you find it somewhere? It's very evocative.

I like the way you tie in different faith traditions.

Many dharma blessings to you.
